It's been awhile - a very long while since I blogged. At the end of 2016 I, (Bonnie), had a new year's resolution to blog every day for a month. I began on January 1, 2017 and wrote and posted photos every day through January 31st. It was much harder than I had anticipated. But, it was rewarding to be able to look back at what I had written, and also to help my somewhat forgetful mind be reminded of what all we had done on our nomadic journey. Now, a year and a half later, I truly wish I had kept it up! So here goes another resolution. We have been in Chicago for four days and had a wonderful visit. Tomorrow night, we leave for 2 1/2 months in Europe. It has been many years since we've flown over the pond, and my goal is to post every day while we are away. That's a long time and it's a big goal for me, but having a goal has always been the way for me to get anything done.

We're still pretty spontaneous travelers, so we don't always know where we'll be next. Help us decide, and please help me stay on track with my goal! :-)
First stop, Reykjavik, Iceland and some other small towns around the country, and second stop will be Edinburgh, UK.
Evanston has many beautiful churches of all denominations.
It's easy to get around Chicago using the excellent public transportation. At least in the summer :-)
